A delicious sweet focaccia! I had an idea last year to begin developing some sweet focaccias using an enriched sweet focaccia dough! The light, open, spongey texture of the focaccia works so well in absorbing all the flavours of the combination of the maple syrup and the pecans! This is for slices of focaccia.
Best eaten on day of purchase. This bread freezes very well. Simply cut into slices, wrap well in cling film or seal in a freezer bag and freeze on day of purchase. Allow to defrost IN the bag or cling film for approx 1 1/2 - 2hours (depending on your slice size) at room temperature or until completely defrosted & enjoy!
Ingredients: Wheat flour, filtered water, caster sugar, pecans, maple syrup, olive oil, almond milk, sea salt, yeast
Suitable for vegans.
Semolina may be used to dust trays/tins, and small traces of vegetable/rapeseed oil used to line trays/tins.
Contains gluten, wheat and nuts.
